The greatest resource of any research lab are the people, with students and postdocs above all. The researchers of the department devote much of their time to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and to supervising students in the lab. As a neurobiology student at the faculty of medicine (undergraduate or graduate), you will not only take part in classes, but also in departmental activities such as research seminars, student seminars, informal student-researcher meetings, as well as departmental retreats and student initiated social activities (i.e. happy hours). See our calendar for details.
The Faculty of medicine has many study programs that we take part in, and the main program for research students is Biomedical Sciences (מדעים ביורפואיים – מדב”ר). The program includes tracks for both undergraduate and graduate degrees, and within these, you can choose a focus, one of which is neuroscience. The coordinator of the BSc Brain science program is Dr. Yoni Kupchik . The coordinator of the Masters neurobiology program is Prof. Alex Binshtok . Of course, you are also invited to contact faculty members directly, especially if you are interested in graduate level studies.
